According to initial information, at around 2:30 p.m. on July 16, on National Highway 8 through Cay Chanh village (Son Tay commune, Ha Tinh province), a serious traffic accident occurred, killing one person on the spot.
The victim was identified as Mr. P.X.T (born in 1956, residing in Son Tay commune), driving a motorbike with license plate 38H1-131.xx, traveling from Huong Son to Son Tay.
When arriving at the above location, the motorbike with license plate 38H1‐131.xx driven by Mr. T collided strongly with a truck with a Lao license plate, traveling in the same direction.
The collision caused Mr. T to die on the spot.
Immediately after the incident, the authorities quickly arrived at the scene to direct traffic, conduct an autopsy and investigate the cause of the accident.
