At about 4:30 p.m. on June 29, at Km540+800 on the North-South expressway through Cam Quan commune, Cam Xuyen district (Ha Tinh), a traffic collision occurred between a 7-seat car with a Ha Tinh license plate and a truck traveling in the same direction.
The collision caused the car to overturn, blocking a lane. The front of the vehicle was slightly damaged, fortunately there were no injuries. However, the incident caused traffic congestion for about 1km.
Immediately after the accident, the operation unit of the Ham Nghi - Vung Ang expressway section coordinated with the Traffic Police force and Road Management Office II.2 to quickly arrive at the scene, deploy a plan to ensure safety, direct traffic and clarify the cause.
According to the management unit, the area where the incident occurred had a full signal system and a smooth road surface.
After the accident, the authorities are mobilizing a crane to clear the traffic jam, ensuring smooth traffic on the North-South expressway.
