The forces have supported the evacuation of 709 households/2,320 people to safe places, transporting 20.5 tons of food and necessities to people in flooded areas in the Central region.

On the afternoon of November 22, the Office of the National Civil Defense Steering Committee informed that, implementing Official Dispatch No. 226/CD-TTg dated November 21, 2025 of the Prime Minister, the Ministry of National Defense issued Official Dispatch No. 7516/CD-BQP dated November 22, 2025 on strengthening the management and use of national reserves to support and respond to floods in the Central region.

To quickly stabilize people's lives and minimize damage to people and property of the State, the Ministry of National Defense requests the General Staff, General Department of Politics; General Departments: Logistics - Engineering, National Defense Industry, General Department II; Military Region: 5, 7; Army Corps: 34; Army: Navy, Air Defense; Border Guard, Vietnam Coast Guard; Artillery - missile Command; Corps: Increasing Arms, Special Forces, Engineering, Chemistry, Communications; Corps: 11, 12, 15, 18, 19, 20. Army Academy; Military Industry - Telecommunications Group continues to deploy and strictly implement the Prime Minister's and the Ministry of National Defense's telegrams.

Strictly maintain the on-duty regime, proactively monitor and grasp the weather and natural disaster developments; quickly mobilize forces and means, deploy measures to overcome the consequences of floods and landslides; ensure safety for forces and means performing their duties.

Regarding the consequences of rain and floods in the Central provinces, the report of the Office of the National Civil Defense Steering Committee said that human losses: As of 5:00 p.m. on November 22, 2025, 85 people had died and gone missing.

Of which, the number of deaths: 72 people (Hue 2; Da Nang 2; Gia Lai2; Khanh Hoa 14: Dak Lak 44; Lam Dong 5); number of missing people: 13 people (Quang Tri 1; Da Nang 2; Khanh Hoa 2; Dak Lak 8).

On November 22, the Ministry of National Defense mobilized 18,223 officers and soldiers (Body: 12,046, Militia: 6,177) and 14,388 people with 678 cars, 1,170 boats, 2 aircraft, 2 flycams, 3 service dogs to participate in overcoming the consequences of rain and floods in the Central provinces.

The forces cleaned and sanitized 58 schools, 163 houses, 8 government headquarters, 10 medical stations, 1 cultural house, 45.5 km of traffic roads; supported the evacuation of 709 households/2,320 people to safe places, 24 households/153 people to shelters; examined and treated 120 people; transported 20.5 tons of food, necessities and 1,030 meals.

On November 21, the Office of the National Civil Defense Steering Committee sent a working delegation led by Major General Pham Van Ty - Deputy Chief of Office, to join a working delegation of the Government led by Deputy Prime Minister Phu Le Thanh Long to inspect and direct the work of overcoming the consequences of rain and floods in Gia Lai province.
