Despite the hot weather, the installation of the mobile median system is still being urgently deployed by workers, ensuring progress.
According to a worker of Construction Service and Trading Joint Stock Company 68, the installation of medians is carried out at intersections with Ring Road 1.
This serves traffic diversion and organization so that vehicles can circulate smoothly, limiting congestion and conflicts between vehicle flows.
According to records along Ring Road 1, many traffic signs have also been installed, lane dividers, pedestrian lanes... have also been basically completed, preparing for the technical opening of Ring Road 1.
The Ring Road 1 construction project, Hoang Cau - Voi Phuc section, is more than 2.2km long, with a cross-section of 50m with 8 lanes.
The starting point intersects with Cat Linh - La Thanh - Yen Lang road at Hoang Cau, the ending point is at Voi Phuc traffic junction.
The project has a total investment of more than 7,200 billion VND from the city budget.
The project was approved in December 2017, expected to be completed in 2020, but was delayed due to site clearance problems.
It is expected that on the occasion of National Day September 2, functional agencies will officially organize traffic diversion at the Ring Road 1 project, Hoang Cau - Voi Phuc section.
Meanwhile, 2 overpasses on the route at the Lang Ha and Nguyen Chi Thanh intersections are still under construction, expected to be completed before December 31, 2026.
