On the morning of April 1st, in the Dam Bay area of Nha Trang Bay, the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Khanh Hoa organized a program to release seedlings to regenerate aquatic resources to celebrate the 67th Anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Fisheries Industry (April 1, 1959 – April 1, 2026).
Within the framework of the program, local government agencies released about 4.5 million juveniles into nature in the Dam Bay sea area. Including 1.35 million black tiger shrimp; 3.1 million mollusks such as fragrant snails, clams; about 2,700 fish living in reefs, typically anchovy; and more than 54,000 other fish such as pomfret, cobia, grouper, and mackerel.

This activity contributes to supplementing aquatic resources that are showing signs of decline, while restoring the marine ecosystem in Nha Trang Bay.
Recreating aquatic resources is a long-term task, requiring the joint efforts of the whole society. People are called upon to raise awareness, not to exploit destructively, contributing to protecting the marine ecosystem for future generations.
The program of releasing seeds to regenerate aquatic resources is organized annually, showing the local determination in protecting the marine environment and promoting sustainable marine economic development.
