Regarding the incident of a boy throwing his sandals into a water valve and damaging 2 elevators, Mr. Hoang Van Bien - Head of the Management Board of CT12B Apartment Building, Kim Van - Kim Lu Urban Area (Dinh Cong Ward, Hanoi) said that one of the two elevators has been repaired and put into use since the end of September.
For the remaining steps, it is expected that on October 10, the workers will start replacing the damaged machles.

According to Mr. Bien, the elevators of the building were installed 10 years ago, and some components had to be imported from abroad, so the wait took a long time.
"The building management board is also urging the elevator operator to soon complete the repair to make it convenient for residents to travel" - Mr. Bien shared with Lao Dong Newspaper reporter.
Previously, the fire spraying hotpot that had broken due to the sandals being thrown at it was replaced.

Regarding the cost of repairing the elevator, Mr. Bien said that this figure is 50 million VND. The parents of the 3 children have paid the full amount to the Management Board.
Through this, the Board of Directors and the Management Board continue to coordinate to promote parents to remind their children to raise their awareness in playing in corridors and lobbies, to avoid unfortunate incidents.

As Lao Dong reported, on September 27, when 3 children were playing throwing sandals in the corridor of the 5th floor of CT12B building, suddenly a child threw them at the water valve of the automatic fire prevention and fighting system, causing foam water to splash onto the floor. After that, the 3 children ran away, while the water continued to flood strongly.
For about 5-7 minutes, from the time the fountain broke until residents discovered it, water flowed into the elevator, causing 2 out of 7 elevators to be damaged, and had to temporarily stop operating for repair.
Immediately afterwards, the Management Board and the Management Board invited the parents of the 3 young children and the floor leader to work and make a verification record. At the meeting, all 3 families admitted that the incident stemmed from the children playing.

The clip recording the incident was spread on social media, causing many mixed opinions. Some Facebook accounts later spread information about repairing elevators from 300 million to 2 billion VND.
Mr. Hoang Van Bien - Head of the CT12B Apartment Building Management Board of Kim Van - Kim Lu Urban Area spoke up to confirm that the cost of repairing elevators spread online is incorrect. This has caused confusion and anxiety for related households.
