Overtaking a tanker truck, two motorcyclists in Hai Phong were injured and died

    Hai Phong - On November 10, the Traffic Safety Committee of Hai Phong City informed about an accident that left 2 people dead and injured.

    Initial information, the accident occurred at 3:50 p.m. on November 9, at Dinh Vu - Cat Hai bridge. At this time, the concrete mixer truck driven by Mr. N.V.S (born in 1988, residing in Do Luong, Nghe An) in the direction of DeepC roundabout to Got ferry collided with a motorbike driven by Mr. T.V.D (born in 2004), carrying Mr. P.V.K (born in 2002, both residing in Ham Yen district, Tuyen Quang) in the direction of Got ferry to DeepC roundabout.

    The collision caused Mr. K to die on the spot and Mr. D to be seriously injured.

    Authorities determined the preliminary cause was that the motorcyclist overtook another vehicle unsafely and did not drive on the right side of the road.

    The case is under investigation and handling according to regulations.
