On March 4, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Bac - Deputy Chief Inspector of the Supreme People's Procuracy (SPP) - chaired a draw conference to randomly select people whose assets and income are verified in 2025 at the People's Procuracy of Hung Yen province and the People's Procuracy of Nghe An province.
At the conference, the Inspectorate representative conducted a draw, the results of which showed that 9 people at the People's Procuracy of Hung Yen province and 22 people at the People's Procuracy of Nghe An province were selected to verify their assets and income in 2025.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Bac - Deputy Chief Inspector of the Supreme People's Procuracy - said that in January 2025, the Chief Prosecutor of the Supreme People's Procuracy issued a Plan to verify assets and income in 2025, in which the Hung Yen Provincial People's Procuracy and the Nghe An Provincial People's Procuracy are 2 out of 3 units selected for the Supreme People's Procuracy to directly conduct verification.
According to Mr. Bac, asset and income verification is considered an essential step of asset and income control; to prevent, detect, and handle corruption (if any) against people with declaration obligations.
Thereby, contributing to raising awareness and responsibility of civil servants in declaring assets and income; contributing to strengthening discipline in the industry, building a clean, honest and strong team of cadres and civil servants; preventing corruption and negative behavior.
