On the afternoon of July 26, the authorities of Bac Nha Trang ward coordinated with the police to conduct investigation activities on the scene and examine the body of the victim found floating at sea.
Previously, at around 4:00 p.m., people went swimming in the sea opposite Dien Bien Phu Street, Bac Nha Trang Ward, Khanh Hoa Province and discovered a body drifting at sea, so they reported it to the local authorities.
The authorities of Bac Nha Trang ward were present at the scene and brought the victim's body to shore.
According to initial identification, the victim was a male, with a left leg injury and was wearing only shorts. The victim's identity has not been determined.
According to some local people, the man with the above characteristics resembles a person who often sat at some traffic lights along route 2-4, Bac Nha Trang ward to beg money from passersby.
Currently, the authorities have transferred the victim's body to the morgue of Khanh Hoa General Hospital. At the same time, an investigation is being conducted to clarify the cause of the incident.
