The incident was recorded in a 17-second video, which quickly spread on social media on September 17. The clip shows that at the intersection of Binh My - Ha Duy Phien road, Binh My commune, when the traffic light turned red, this tanker truck continued to move. This behavior has forced many other vehicles that are complying with the law to brake suddenly, give way, causing chaos and posing a potential risk of accidents.
Discussing the incident, a representative of the Northwest Traffic Police Station under the Traffic Police Department (PC08), Ho Chi Minh City Police said that they have grasped the information and are verifying the identity of the driver, as well as the vehicle owner to take strict measures to handle it according to the provisions of law.
