On October 10, the People's Committee of Quang Dong commune (Quang Trach district, Quang Binh) said that at 9:15 a.m. the same day, a traffic accident occurred in the area, killing 1 person and injuring 1 person.
Accordingly, at the above time, the container truck with license plate 34C-106.XX pulling a trailer 34R-017.XX driven by Nguyen Duc Hien (residing in Hai Duong province) was traveling on National Highway 1A, in the South-North direction.
At Km 597+900, in Vinh Son village (Quang Dong commune), collided with a motorbike with license plate 73R-121.XX driven by Ms. N.T.T (born in 1977, residing in Quang Minh commune, Ba Don town) going in the same direction carrying Ms. N.T.H.
The strong collision caused Ms. T to die on the spot. Ms. H was injured and taken to the Vietnam - Cuba Friendship Hospital in Dong Hoi for emergency treatment. At the scene, 2 vehicles were damaged.
Upon receiving the news, the authorities were present at the scene to coordinate traffic, investigate and clarify the cause of the incident.
