On the morning of January 10, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hai - Chairman of the People's Committee of An Dung commune (Duc Tho district, Ha Tinh) said that a rescue car had just fallen into the river.
On the same morning, local people discovered a rescue vehicle that had broken the railing of Cho Giay bridge and fallen into the river upside down, so they quickly came to the rescue.
It is known that the accident did not cause any human damage.
At the moment the car fell into the river, the driver opened the door in time, got out and swam safely to shore.
The cause of the incident is currently being verified and clarified by local authorities.
Previously, on December 31, 2024, while passing through Cho Giay bridge, bordering An Dung and Thanh Binh Thinh communes, Duc Tho district, a car carrying 2 people also lost control and fell into the river, resulting in both deaths.
