On December 14, information from Dinh Lap District Police said that the unit had just dispatched dozens of officers and soldiers to help extinguish the tractor trailer fire.
Accordingly, the incident occurred at 11:35 p.m. on December 13, at Keo Khue slope, Khe Ma village, Dinh Lap commune, Dinh Lap district.
At that time, the tractor carrying iron, license plate 98H.007.64, was moving on National Highway 4B in the direction of Lang Son - Quang Ninh when it suddenly caught fire from the rear of the vehicle.
Discovering the incident, the driver quickly left the car and called for help from people on both sides of the road to put out the fire, but was unsuccessful.
Upon receiving the news, Dinh Lap District Police dispatched dozens of officers, soldiers and fire fighting vehicles to quickly arrive at the scene to control the fire and direct traffic.
After nearly 2 hours of firefighting efforts, the fire was completely extinguished.
Fortunately, the incident did not cause any casualties, however, the tractor was severely damaged.
Authorities are continuing to investigate and clarify the cause of the fire.
