Motorbike ran red light, collided with container truck, 1 person died

Binh Duong - On November 8, a clip of a man riding a motorbike running a red light across My Phuoc - Tan Van road was circulated online and was hit and killed by a container truck.

According to verification, the accident occurred at around 3:00 p.m. on November 7 at the intersection of DH605 Road and My Phuoc - Tan Van Road, Chanh Phu Hoa Ward, Ben Cat City, Binh Duong Province.

The victim who died on the motorbike was identified as Mr. T.T (born in 1976, residing in Phu Giao district, Binh Duong province).

Initial information, at around 3:00 p.m. on November 7, Mr. T was driving a motorbike on DH605 Street. When he reached the intersection with My Phuoc - Tan Van Street, Mr. T drove across My Phuoc - Tan Van Street. At this time, the traffic light was turning red.

At the same time, a tractor trailer also passed through the above intersection and had an accident with a motorbike driven by Mr. T.

The strong collision caused Mr. T to fall onto the road and die at the scene. The incident was later reported to the authorities.

Upon receiving the news, Binh Duong Provincial Police units were present to block off the scene and conduct an investigation to clarify the accident.

Initial investigation determined that the motorcyclist did not comply with traffic light signals (ran a red light), leading to the traffic accident.
