Previously, on the evening of August 26, a range Rover car crashed into many motorbikes and fled.
The car only stopped when it crashed into an iron pillar covering the roof of a household on Le Trung Kien Street, Tuy Hoa Ward.
At the scene, the range Rover with license plate 78A-179.97 was used by people to carry sticks and rocks to avoid fleeing. The front of the vehicle was severely distorted.
At the time of the accident, the driver was not present at the scene.
A witness present at the scene recounted that at around 7:50 p.m. on August 26, when he and many people were waiting for a red light on Le Loi Street, they saw a range Rover truck coming and crashing into a motorbike but did not stop. The group of people immediately chased after him.
When arriving at the Le Trung Kien - Le Loi intersection, the car ran a red light, continued to hit another motorbike and crashed into an iron pillar on the roof of a house before stopping.
The driver was an elderly man. People called the authorities to come and hand over the driver.
