Binh Duong - On November 28, a 4-minute clip was widely circulated online showing a girl being brutally beaten by a group of people.

In the video, the girl was surrounded by a group of people who took turns beating her. Initially, a man and a woman grabbed the girl’s hair and threw her to the floor. The people pulled her hair, cursed at her, and slapped her in the face.

When the two subjects finished beating her, the other subjects took turns using their hands to grab her hair and kick her in the stomach and face.

The girl could only hold her head and endure the beating. Although she begged, the men did not let her go. They beat and cursed her for 4 minutes.

Speaking to a reporter from Lao Dong Newspaper, Ms. T.T.P (born in 1988, residing in Xuan Loc, Dong Nai) said that the girl who was beaten in the video, named V.N.K.V (born in 2011), is Ms. P's daughter. According to her, when she was beaten, the girl was studying at N.V.T Secondary School in Lai Thieu Ward, Thuan An City, Binh Duong Province.

According to Ms. P, the child was beaten around April 30, 2024, however, she only found out about the incident a month ago.

"I used to work as a worker and temporarily resided in Lai Thieu ward, Thuan An city. My child was beaten around April 30, when she had just finished 7th grade at N.V.T Secondary School. She showed signs of fear and asked to return to her hometown in Xuan Loc, Dong Nai to study. Recently, when I learned about the incident, I asked my daughter to tell me that she had been beaten in Binh Duong before. Because she was afraid that the subjects would continue to beat her, she hid it from her mother and asked to return to Dong Nai to study. However, when she arrived in Dong Nai, the subjects continued to threaten and beat her. I watched the video again and felt so heartbroken, I didn't think my child would be beaten" - Ms. T.T.P said.

It is known that after the incident, Ms. T.T.P went to the police in Dong Nai and Binh Duong provinces to report. Ms. P hopes that the authorities will investigate and clarify the matter to deter the subjects and prevent other children from being beaten and bullied like her child.
