The Standing Committee of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee has just issued a document directing advisory and support agencies of the Provincial Party Committee, district Party Committees, town Party Committees, city Party Committees, party committees directly under the Provincial Party Committee and socio-political organizations at the provincial level to urgently implement Conclusion No. 170-KL/TW dated June 24, 2025 of the Politburo and the Secretariat.
Accordingly, units are required to comprehensively review the preparation for the Ceremony to announce resolutions and decisions of the Central and local governments on the arrangement and merger of administrative units; establish a Party organization, appoint Party committees, People's Councils, People's Committees, the Fatherland Front at all levels... The announcement ceremony will take place on June 30, 2025.
The Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee emphasized the requirement for localities and units to complete the arrangement of headquarters, equipment, working means, and personnel for agencies and organizations after the merger.
At the same time, thoroughly handle the remaining work before June 30, to prevent overlapping, omission, or unclear responsibilities when transferring tasks.
The management and use of public assets, offices, and land must be done effectively, avoiding loss and waste.
Localities need to limit organizing summaries, farewells, parties for merger events, strictly prohibiting celebrations and parties when taking office or being promoted due to organizational restructuring.
The Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee is assigned to preside over and coordinate with the Provincial Party Committee Office, the Provincial People's Committee Office and relevant agencies to review and adjust the plan to organize the Announcement Ceremony to ensure consistency and unity in accordance with the Central's instructions and Conclusion 170-KL/TW of the Secretariat.
The Propaganda Department and the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Department are assigned to promote propaganda and ideology, clarify the goals, significance and initial results of the process of reorganizing the apparatus and administrative units at the commune level in the area.
According to Resolution No. 1667 of the National Assembly Standing Committee, Khanh Hoa province will have 65 commune-level administrative units after the reorganization, including 64 communes, wards and 1 special zone.
