    Ha Tinh - District Road 8 through Huong Long Commune (Huong Khe District) suddenly had a "death hole" causing the locality to block off to ensure safety.

    Mr. Le Thanh Hai - Vice Chairman of Huong Long Commune People's Committee - said that the section of District Road 8 through Hamlet 2, Huong Long Commune had just seen a death hole on the afternoon of February 18.

    Through inspection, the mouth of the hole collapsed about 70cm, the hole was about 4m wide and 1.8m deep.

    According to Mr. Hai, on the morning of February 19, leaders of the District People's Committee and related sectors went to the scene to check, find out the cause and direct handling.

    An officer of the Huong Khe District Construction Investment Project Management Board said that the unit has inspected and will soon take remedial measures to ensure safety for vehicles passing through.
