On October 2, information from the leader of Dam Rong 1 commune (Lam Dong), the commune's functional agencies coordinated with relevant units to conduct a crime scene investigation and investigate the cause of the wood workshop fire in the area.
Initial information, at around 6:00 p.m. on October 1, the wood workshop of Loc Phat Company Limited specializing in wood purchasing and processing in Trung Tam village suddenly caught fire.
The Fire Prevention and Rescue Police, Lam Dong Police dispatched 2 specialized fire trucks from Duc Trong area and 30 soldiers to the scene.
Because the workshop contained a lot of wood, the fire spread quickly, creating a large fire with a column of smoke rising high, causing many difficulties in firefighting. It took more than 1 hour the same day for the fire to be extinguished.
According to local authorities, the fire fortunately did not cause any human casualties but burned down many properties of the wood workshop, estimated at 1.5 billion VND.
