According to records, the number of 4-door Aston Martin Rapide S coupe models in Vietnam is only about 6 units.
Although it has been discontinued for many years, the Aston Martin Rapide S is still of interest to many luxury sports car enthusiasts thanks to the characteristic design of the British car brand. The car that appeared in Hanoi belongs to the second generation Rapide S, a version that has been significantly upgraded compared to the first generation in both design and operating capabilities.
Rapide S was previously introduced by Aston Martin at the New York Motor Show in 2013. In this version, the front of the car is redesigned with a large seamless grille, replacing the previous two-tier style. The grille uses 8 characteristic chrome-plated spokes, creating accents for the front appearance.
The front bumper of the car integrates a carbon fiber spoiler to improve aerodynamics. The body still retains the familiar soft lines of Aston Martin. At the rear, the taillights and overall layout are refined, helping the Rapide S have a more modern and sharper appearance than the previous generation.
The interior space of this model is luxurious with high-class leather seats, many wood trim details and the characteristic 4-seater configuration of the 4-door coupe line. Suspension, chassis and center of gravity of the car are also adjusted, in which the engine is placed lower by about 19 mm to improve operating performance.
Aston Martin Rapide S is equipped with an ADS adaptive suspension system with three modes including Normal, Sport and Track, allowing drivers to customize the operating experience according to different conditions.
In terms of power, this model uses a naturally aspirated V12 engine that has been tuned to be 80 horsepower stronger than the first generation, reaching a maximum power of 550 horsepower. The car is capable of accelerating from 0-100 km/h in 4.7 seconds and reaching a maximum speed of about 306 km/h.
