For the Bai Vot - Ham Nghi; Ham Nghi - Vung Ang; Bung - Van Ninh Expressway Component Projects, vehicles will officially be able to circulate from April 28, 2025.
For project component beach component - Ham Nghi. The vehicles are allowed to circulate from the beginning of the project at Km479+117 to the end of the project at Km514+441 in the North - South direction and vice versa. The route consists of 3 intersections (intersection of National Highway 8A, Thanh Binh Thinh Commune, Duc Tho District connecting Cau Treo border gate, Hong Linh town; intersection of provincial road 548, Trung Loc commune, Can Loc district connecting Nghen town, historic passage of Dong Highway junction, National Highway 1A and intersection with provincial road 550, Luu Vinh Son commune, Thach Ha district connected to Hanoi Tinh City, National Highway 1A).
Vehicles are allowed to travel on the expressway at a maximum speed of 80 km/h.
The project does not have a rest stop (used together with the rest stop on the Ham Nghi - Vung Ang route).
For the Ham Nghi - Vung Ang Component Project. Vehicles are allowed to circulate from the beginning of the Project at Km514+300 to the end of Km568+496 in the North - South direction and vice versa.
The route includes 3 intersections (Cam Quan National Highway 1 intersection, Cam Quan commune, Cam Xuyen district via the route connecting to National Highway 1A to Cam Xuyen District Center, Thien Cam Tourist Area; Ky Trung intersection, Ky Trung commune, Ky Anh district to National Highway 1A connecting to Ky Anh District Center and National Highway 12C intersection, Ky Tan commune, Ky Anh district connecting Vung Ang Economic Zone and Ky Anh Town).
Vehicles are allowed to travel on the expressway at a maximum speed of 80 km/h.
The rest stop at Km534+100 in Cam Xuyen district (arranged on both sides of the expressway) has been cleared. Currently, investors are implementing procedures to carry out investment, construction, and business management of rest stops in accordance with the provisions of law.
For the Bung - Van Ninh Component Project. Vehicles are allowed to exploit the route from Cu Nam intersection (route about Km626+690.35) to National Highway 9B intersection (route about Km673+750).
The exploitation plan is as follows: the project will put into operation the main route of about 47/48.84 km and 4/4 intersections, including: Cu Nam intersection (route about Km626+690.35), Viet Trung (route about Km643+480), Nhat Le 2 (route about Km653+850), National Highway 9B (route about Km673+750).
The rest stop is at Km651+00 (arranged on both sides of the highway). The Ministry of Construction has selected investors for rest stops, according to regulations
For the Van Phong - Nha Trang section component project: Vehicles are allowed to participate in traffic on the route at 6:00 a.m. on April 20, 2025.
Accordingly, vehicles are allowed to exploit the route from Van Gia intersection (route about Km299+812) to National Highway 27C intersection (route about Km368+350), connecting to the Nha Trang - Cam Lam section under exploitation.
The exploitation plan is as follows: The project will put into operation all construction items in the section from Km298+000 - Km368+350, the section returning National Highway 1A and the section returning National Highway 27C (about 70.35/83.35km of the main route). The route has 3 interconnecting intersections, including: Van Gia intersection at Km299+812 (connecting with National Highway 1), National Highway 26 intersection at Km332+100 (connecting with National Highway 26) and National Highway 27C intersection at Km368+350 (connecting with National Highway 27C).
The rest stop is at Km334+900 (arranged on both sides of the highway). The Ministry of Construction has selected an investor for the rest stop, according to regulations.
The Ministry of Construction added that the traffic organization plan for expressways is as follows: expressways only serve cars. Subjects who are not allowed to participate in traffic on expressways include: pedestrians, rudimentary vehicles, motorbikes, motorbikes and tractors; specialized motorbikes with a design speed of less than 90 km/h are not allowed to enter the expressway (except for people, vehicles, equipment for expressway management and maintenance).
People, vehicles and equipment serving the management and maintenance of expressways with separate badges or symbols are allowed to travel on the expressway but do not affect or obstruct traffic on the expressway.
Vehicles carrying toxic, flammable substances and explosives on the list of dangerous goods specified by the Government in Decree No. 42/2020/ND-CP are only allowed to travel on highways when licensed by competent authorities.
Drivers participating in traffic on expressways must comply with regulations on road loads, road widgets, and safety participation rules according to current legal regulations.
The cross-section of the route has 4 lanes for two-way traffic, on the route there are emergency stop strips with a distance of 4-5km/point in the same direction for vehicles.
Dimensions of each location: length 270m (including 170m parking section, 50m in and out of each side), width 2.5-3m, sidewalk width 0.75m.
