The new Porsche Panamera launched in Vietnam has a sporty and improved design in both exterior and interior. The car is 5,052mm long, 1,937mm wide and 1,423mm high, with a 5,202mm extended wheelbase on the Panamera 4 E-Hybrid Executive model.
The front end features four-point LED headlights and bold lines, while the rear is neatly refined with frameless rear glass and an extended taillight strip. A range of wheel options are available, including standard centre-lock wheels on the Turbo E-Hybrid.
Inside, the Panamera features the Porsche Driver Experience system with a driver-focused layout. The 10.9-inch passenger display displays performance information and entertainment functions. The gearshift lever is located to the right of the steering wheel and the dashboard along the driver's position. The controls are logically arranged for easy access.
The two-chamber air suspension, combined with new damper technology, helps the Panamera maintain its balance and smoothness when operating. The new hybrid versions have an increased pure electric range and faster charging times thanks to the 25.9 kWh battery, while the powerful drive system ensures high performance.
The first e-hybrid engine is introduced, with a 25.9 kWh battery, which offers significantly improved electric driving capability, faster charging and increased performance. The top-of-the-range Turbo S E-Hybrid version develops 771 hp, accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 2.9 seconds and can reach a top speed of 325 km/h. Porsche Active Ride 2-chamber 2-valve suspension helps maintain maximum stability when operating on all terrains.
The new Panamera also comes with an optional full-time Active Chassis Control system, which significantly improves agility and traction. The interior design has also been upgraded with a dedicated display for passengers, allowing them to conveniently access infotainment without distracting the driver.
