On March 8, a fleet of Mercedes-Benz used cars were displayed in Buon Ma Thuot on the occasion of the 9th Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival. This event attracted the attention of many car enthusiasts and tourists, especially when for the first time, a collection of up to 6 Mercedes-Benz 190SLs was launched in Vietnam.
It is worth mentioning the Mercedes-Benz 190SL model, which is considered quite rare in Vietnam.
All of these cars are owned by a famous businessman in the coffee industry in Buon Ma Thuot. This fleet also has a clear distinction in roof colors when 3 cars have red roofs, 2 blue roofs and 1 black roof, creating richness and uniqueness for the collection.
Mercedes-Benz 190SL is a luxury 2-door convertible model, produced from 1955 to 2019. This car line stands out with its elegant design and timeless technology. The car was first displayed at the New York Auto Show in 1954 and quickly became one of the favorite cars of the upper class. With a 1.9L 4-cylinder engine, 104 horsepower, the 190SL is not only a means of transportation but also a symbol of luxury and sophistication.
In addition to the 6 Mercedes-Benz 190SL, the display car fleet also made a strong impression with other unique ancient car models, such as the Mercedes-Benz 250SL (there are only 2 in Vietnam), 280SL, 380SL, and 560SL, each version has extremely limited quantities in the Vietnamese market. In particular, the appearance of Mercedes-Benz SL-Class and Mercedes-Benz G-Class enriches the collection, making visitors amazed.
This is a unique and impressive event, contributing to enriching the atmosphere of the Buon Ma Thuot coffee festival, while bringing legendary ancient cars closer to the Vietnamese public.
