According to information from the Traffic Police Department (CSGT) - Ministry of Public Security, through data from the monitoring system, from 12:00 on November 27, 2025 to 12:00 on November 28, 2025, AI cameras located at km 20 of the Noi Bai - Lao Cai Expressway recorded 14,411 vehicles passing through, with an average speed of 69.5km/h.
In particular, the system has automatically detected 4 cases of drivers not wearing seat belts. No cases of using a phone by hand while driving were detected.
Violations have been reported to vehicle owners for handling according to current regulations.
In the inner city of Hanoi, a pilot AI camera installed at the intersection of Pham Van Bach - Hoang Quan Chi streets (Cau Giay ward) automatically detected 22 cases of motorbike and motorbike drivers not wearing helmets and 29 cases of running red lights, not obeying traffic light signals.
The system has not recorded any cases of going in the wrong direction during this time frame.
Data extracted from AI cameras on Le Van Luong Street and the intersection of Pham Van Bach - Hoang Quan Chi Street both showed that there were no cases of going in the wrong lane.
The results recorded from the pilot camera points have been transferred to Hanoi City Police and related functional units for handling according to their authority.
