According to information from the Traffic Police Department (CSGT) - Ministry of Public Security, from 12:00 on December 10, 2025 to 12:00 on December 11, 2025, the camera system applying artificial intelligence (AI) continues to be effective in monitoring and detecting traffic violations in Hanoi and the Noi Bai - Lao Cai Expressway.
At that time, at km20 of the Noi Bai - Lao Cai Expressway, the AI camera recorded 22,123 vehicles moving through the area, with an average speed of about 70 km/h.
During the monitoring process, the system automatically detected 3 cases of drivers not wearing seat belts. Notably, no cases of phone use while driving were recorded. All information of the violation has been transferred to the vehicle owner for handling according to regulations.

In the inner city of Hanoi, data extracted from AI cameras being piloted at the intersection of Pham Van Bach - Hoang Quan Chi streets (Cau Giay ward) shows that the number of violations is still high.
Accordingly, from 12:00 on December 10, 2025 to 12:00 on December 11, 2025, the system detected 52 cases of not wearing helmets and 79 cases of not obeying traffic light signals (running red lights). In addition, no cases of going in the wrong direction were recorded during this period.
On Le Van Luong Street, AI cameras also continue to monitor vehicle traffic. The results showed no violations of driving in the wrong lane.
All violating data recorded by the AI camera system has been transferred to the authorities to carry out the handling process in accordance with the provisions of law.

The application of AI technology in traffic monitoring is assessed to help improve management efficiency, reduce pressure on enforcement forces and contribute to building a safer and more civilized traffic environment.
