The Vietnam Road Administration, Ministry of Construction has just published the first draft of the Decree on administrative sanctions for violations in the road sector.
Clause 2, Article 12 of the draft decree stipulates a fine of between VND 3,000,000 and VND 4,000,000 for individuals, from VND 6,000,000 to VND 8,000,000 for transport business organizations and transport support services to carry out one of the following violations:
Using passenger cars with 8 seats or more (excluding the driver's seat) to do business in transporting passengers by taxi.
Using a passenger taxi without a light box with the words "TAXI" on the roof or without a phrase "TAXI ENGLIN" on the front windshield, rear windshield as prescribed or with a light box, with a phrase "TAXI ENGLIN" posted but not fixed, not in the correct size, not made of reflective material as prescribed; without or with a transaction phone number recorded on the vehicle that is not in accordance with the registration.
Using drivers and service staff on the vehicle to participate in car transportation business without a labor contract as prescribed.
Not arranging people to directly manage transportation activities or having arranged but not meeting the prescribed conditions.
Using a vehicle owned by a cooperative member for automobile transportation business without a service contract between the member and the cooperative as prescribed or using a vehicle not under legal use to do business in automobile transportation business.
No parking space as prescribed.
The bus station did not confirm or did not confirm accurately or fully the information in the Transport Order according to regulations or confirmed in the Transport Order when the vehicle was not at the station.
Collecting passengers, selling tickets, collecting fees, confirming bookings for each passenger; fixing fixed routes and schedules to serve many passengers or many different transportation tenants for passenger transport business vehicles under contracts.
Passenger transport business under contracts does not comply with regulations on picking up and dropping off passengers at headquarters, branch offices, representative offices or at another fixed location rented or cooperated with by the transport business unit, on the streets.
