The dossier for changing driving licenses includes: application for changing or reissuing a driving license according to the prescribed form; health certificate of the driver issued by a qualified medical examination and treatment facility (except for people with class A1, A, B1 driving licenses); certified copy or electronic copy of the driving license, citizen identification card; valid passport (for foreigners, Vietnamese people residing abroad).
In case the driving license is integrated with two classes but the person is deprived of the right to use the driving license of one class, the decision to sanction administrative violations in the field of road traffic shall be submitted to be changed to the remaining class.
In addition, people who want to change their driving license to a lower degradation must clearly state in the application for changing or reissuing the driving license and be responsible for the declaration content.
