Through patrol and control combined with recording, Highway Traffic Police Team No. 2 worked and made a record of administrative violation against Mr. N.P. C (born in 1988, residing in Hanoi City), the driver of truck license plate 29E-301.XX.
At 11:23 am on March 29, at km 94+500 of the Hanoi - Hai Phong expressway (Hai Phong to Hanoi direction), functional agencies determined that the driver had stopped the vehicle on the expressway due to drowsiness without placing safety warnings as prescribed, posing a particularly serious accident risk. At the meeting, the violator reviewed all images and videos, admitted the violation and signed a commitment not to repeat it.
Based on the provisions of point c, clause 7, Article 6 of Decree 168/2024/ND-CP, the penalty for truck drivers in this case is a fine of 12 - 14 million VND, minus 6 points on the driver's license. The traffic police force has made a record of administrative violation and requested the driver to immediately stop the dangerous act. At the same time, propagate and remind drivers to strictly comply with regulations when participating in traffic on the expressway.
