1. Forms and contents of the test
grades A1, A, B1 (three-wheeled vehicles): Candidates will participate in two competitions including theory and practice in painting. In particular, if they do not pass the theory exam, candidates can continue to take the practical exam in the picture. Reversal
Grades B, C1, C, D1, D2, D and higher grades: Candidates must participate in four rounds including theory, simulation of traffic situations, practice driving in the picture and practice driving on the road. If they do not pass a part, candidates will still be allowed to continue taking the remaining parts. The results of the passing exams will be retained for 1 year, and candidates only need to retake the unsatisfactory part. Reversal
2. Theoretical exam for some cases
Candidates taking the A1 and A driving test if they already have a valid car driving license will be exempted from the theory exam.
3. Flexible theoretical training forms
grades A1, A and B1: Students can study theory on their own or study centrally at a driving training facility.
Grades B, C1, C and higher: Students can choose to study theory in a centralized training facility or distance learning, self-study with guidance. However, the practical driving part is required to study at a training facility. Reversal
4. The course duration is not more than 90 days
The duration of the driving training course, including review time, inspection time and holiday and Tet, must not exceed 90 days.
5. Abandoning the subject "Traffic Business"
The new driver training program has eliminated the subject "Traffic Business". Instead, theoretical subjects include: Road traffic law; driving techniques; common structure and repair; ethics, traffic culture and harm prevention of alcohol and beer when participating in traffic; fire prevention, fire fighting and rescue skills; learning software to simulate traffic situations. 6. Regulations on the duration and scoring of driving licenses
Warm period of the driving license:
Grades A1, A, B1: No deadline.
Grade B, C1: With a term of 10 years from the date of issuance.
Grade C and higher grades: With a term of 5 years from the date of issuance. Reversal
Scoring system: Each driving license will have 12 points. When violating traffic laws, drivers will have points deducted depending on the severity of the violation. If all points are deducted, drivers must retake the test and wait at least 6 months before participating in the test on legal knowledge on road traffic order and safety.
