The driver's photo taken on a sky blue background is printed directly on the driver's license.
There is a layer of insurance covering the two sides of the driver's license.
The front of the driver's license displays the following information: Driver's license number, driver's name, date of birth, nationality, date of issuance, expiration date, issuing agency, place of residence, class.
The back of the driving license displays the following information: Motor vehicles that are controlled (written in Vietnamese and English), the date of admission, have a two-way code (QR) to read and quickly decode information on the driving license and link to the driving license information system at the Traffic Police Department.
How to print a driver's license Print each driver's license class that the driver is allowed to drive (displayed in Vietnamese and English).
Limited conditions are as follows:
For the automatically numbered B driving license (including electric cars), it is stated: " issued to a person who is only allowed to drive an automatically numbered car (including electric cars)".
Regarding the class A1 driving license issued to people with disabilities to drive three-wheeled motorbikes for people with disabilities, it is stated: "Handed for people with disabilities to only drive three-wheeled motorbikes for people with disabilities".
Regarding the automatic class B driving license issued to people with left-handed disabilities, it is stated: "Handed to people with left-handed disabilities, they are only allowed to drive automatic cars (including electric cars) with a headlight and turn signals suitable for people with left-handed disabilities".
Regarding the automatic class B driving license issued to people with right-hand disabilities, it is stated: "Handed to people with right-hand disabilities, they are only allowed to drive automatic cars with headlight control mechanisms and turn signals suitable for people with right-hand disabilities".
Regarding the automatic class B driving license issued to people with right leg disabilities, it is stated: "Handed to people with right leg disabilities, they are only allowed to drive automatic cars with engine throttle control mechanisms and leg brakes suitable for people with right leg disabilities".
Regarding the automatic B driving license issued to people with general disabilities (except for left-hand, right-hand, right-leg disabilities), it is stated: "Handed to people with general disabilities, only automatic cars can be driven".
For the A1 driving license issued before the date of circulation, this Circular is valid and can be changed or reissued to a class A driving license with the limitation of only being allowed to drive two-wheeled motorbikes with a cylinder capacity of less than 175 cm3 or with an electric motor capacity of less than 14 kW, stating: "Given to people who are only allowed to drive two-wheeled motorbikes with a cylinder capacity of less than 175 cm3 or with an electric motor capacity of less than 14 kW".
For automatic driving licenses of class B1 issued before the date of issue, this Circular is valid and can be changed or reissued to class B driving licenses, stating: " issued to people who are only allowed to drive cars with automatic license plate changes (including electric cars)".
The limited conditions code of the driving license with codes printed on the back of the driving license states the conditions that must be met to drive:
A.01: Only drive a three-wheeled motorbike for people with disabilities.
A.02: Only two-wheeled motorbikes with a cylinder capacity of 125 cm3 or more or an electric motor capacity of 14 kW or more can be controlled with a manual transmission.
A.03: Only two-wheeled motorbikes with a cylinder capacity of less than 175 cm3 or an electric motor capacity of less than 14 kW are allowed to be driven.
B.01: Only drive a class B car with an automatic license plate (including an electric car).
B.02: Only drive automatic class B cars, issued to people with left-handed disabilities.
B.03: Only drive automatic class B cars, issued to people with right-hand disabilities.
B.04: Only drive automatic class B cars, issued to people with right leg disabilities.
B.05: Only drive automatic class B cars, issued to people with general disabilities.
