This is one of two rare 911 GT3 RS 991.1s in Vietnam, and is the only one recorded to be present in the capital to date.
The car has an orange-red exterior, highlighted by many details using carbon fiber such as spoilers, rearview mirrors and some aerodynamic details. The vehicle uses a black double-spoke 5-spoke wheel arrangement, combined with yellow high-performance brake clips.
This model has been imported to Vietnam since around 2015. Initially, the car was owned by a domestic car collector. After a period of use, the 911 GT3 RS has been transferred and rarely appears in public. The most recent time, the car was recorded to be present in the southern area.
The Porsche 911 GT3 RS 991.1 uses a 4.0-liter, naturally aspirated 6-cylinder Boxer engine. This engine produces a maximum capacity of 500 horsepower at 8,250 rpm and a maximum torque of 460 Nm. The fuel system uses direct spraying (DFI) technology.
Engine power is transmitted through a 7-speed PDK dual-clutch transmission, combined with rear-wheel drive. Thanks to this configuration, the car is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in about 3.3 seconds, before reaching a maximum speed of 310 km/h.
The 911 GT3 RS is a high-performance variation of the 911 series, focusing on the racing experience with a refined chassis, a sporty suspension and advanced aerodynamics. Generation 991.1 was produced in the 20152016 period, before moving to version 991.2 and successor generations.
The fact that this 911 GT3 RS 991.1 reappears in Hanoi shows that the car is still preserved and operated well after many years of use. This is a car model with high collectible value in the high-performance Porsche enthusiast community in Vietnam.
