Honda's electric cars will have the same noise and vibration as gasoline cars

Honda has revealed some technological improvements that will be introduced on its electric vehicles to make them more appealing.

Accordingly, Honda is making efforts to launch a completely new line of electric vehicles, called the 0 Series. The Japanese automaker also revealed some new technologies on the upcoming electric vehicle (EV), with the ability to make the company's new EV sound and feel like the NSX supercar.

The battery case used in the 0 series electric vehicle will be 6% thinner than other competitors, said Honda. The design will aim to save more space and be made from aluminum shells. This is the result of a large mold casting process.

The company has also introduced a series of software developments for its upcoming electric vehicles. At the same time, there is a plan to develop a separate operating system architecture that can be upgraded through online updates.

It is known that future Honda electric vehicles will be equipped with a set of advanced driver assistance systems. On the other hand, the 0 Series will have the ability to drive "without looking" level 3 thanks to a series of cameras, radar, sonar and lidar sensors.

Other software developments are more focused on practicality. Honda's voice assistant will be enhanced with a behavior prediction algorithm to better understand user intentions. Information and entertainment will also learn to make suggestions based on the surrounding environment and observed behavior.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) will learn from driver behavior to predict and avoid risks more accurately. Honda said that the company aims to be the first company in the world to expand the application of functions without having to look at all driving situations.

The famous Japanese car company also simulates this new line of electric cars like gasoline cars through sound and vibration to create more fun and comfortable travel for users. Each option creates a unique, quite realistic engine sound when pressing the accelerator, shaking the driver's seat and changing the digital clock display to copy the clock cluster of that vehicle.
