Lao Dong Newspaper has reported on the shortcomings in the implementation of preferential allowances for school health workers at public schools in Ninh Binh province according to Decree No. 56/2011/ND-CP dated July 4, 2011 of the Government.
On November 30, speaking with Lao Dong Newspaper, Mr. Phan Thanh Cong - Director of the Department of Education and Training of Ninh Binh province said that on November 22, the Department of Education and Training of the province issued a document directing its affiliated units to consider and decide on preferential allowances for medical staff in schools based on Clause 6, Article 3 of Decree No. 56/2011/ND-CP dated July 4, 2011 of the Government. The level of support shall not exceed 20% of the current salary scale and grade plus leadership position allowance and seniority allowance (if any) of the beneficiary.
"We have requested heads of units to consider and decide on paying preferential allowances to medical staff of the unit based on the specific work and revenue sources in accordance with regulations. During the implementation process, if there are any difficulties or problems, the units should report to the Department of Education and Training through the Planning and Finance Department for guidance," said Mr. Cong.
According to Phan Thanh Cong, Director of Ninh Binh Department of Education and Training, the support fund is taken from the school's revenue. In the immediate future, the units under the department will pay preferential allowances to their school health workers from December 2024.
Previously, the Lao Dong Electronic Newspaper published a series of articles reflecting on the shortcomings in the implementation of preferential allowances for school health workers at public schools in Ninh Binh province according to Decree No. 56/2011/ND-CP dated July 4, 2011 of the Government.
Although the Decree was issued in 2011, many schools in Ninh Binh province have not yet implemented preferential allowance support for school health workers. This is a great disadvantage for school health workers.
