News from Can Tho City Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital, on the morning of February 3rd, the hospital organized the inauguration ceremony of the renovation and upgrade of the Department of Surgery - Anesthesia and Resuscitation - Anti-poison and the opening ceremony of "Binh Ngo Spring Flower Street 2026".
The renovation and upgrade project of the Department of Surgery - Anesthesia - Resuscitation - Anti-poison was started on January 9, 2025 with a total investment of nearly 50 billion VND. The completed project brings a superior medical infrastructure system with 6 modern operating rooms, a synchronously invested recovery area and a family maternity room system. This is a specific step in the roadmap for specialized medical development, helping the hospital improve professional capacity, ensure absolute safety for patients and optimize treatment quality.
In parallel with upgrading facilities, "Binh Ngo Spring Flower Street 2026" also officially opened. The flower street is an annual cultural event with a unique characteristic of Can Tho City Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital. Each miniature landscape and flower color are created from the hands of doctors and nurses. Not only beautifying the space, this activity also has noble humanitarian meaning. Typically in 2025, Spring booths raised more than 73.9 million VND, promptly supporting 46 patients in difficult circumstances.
