On May 13, the Government Portal said that the Prime Minister has issued Decision No. 826/QD-TTg approving Program Project 06 for the 2026-2030 period, marking a strong transformation in the national digital transformation.
The decision clearly stated the goal that by 2030, people and businesses will enjoy digital services conveniently, quickly, safely, without barriers to paperwork and administrative procedures according to administrative boundaries.
To realize this roadmap, investing in developing modern and safe digital infrastructure to serve administrative procedures and provide online public services is one of the urgent tasks.
The Prime Minister requested the People's Committees of localities to coordinate with the Ministry of Public Security, the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Science and Technology, and the Ministry of Health to study and propose solutions for "Digital Citizen Stations" at public places, administrative agencies and service centers, aiming to deploy universalization according to the roadmap from January 2027.
The launch and expansion of the breakthrough digital infrastructure model with many utilities and features is the result of the important transition from "administrative management" to "administrative service", applying technology to serve people better. This also shows the effort to concretize the viewpoint of taking people "as the center, goal, subject, resource, driving force of digital transformation" as affirmed in the project.
One of the notable highlights is the task of researching and deploying the popularization of the Digital Citizen Station model, in the spirit of bringing public service utilities and digital healthcare "deeply rooted" to serve people's lives.

Piloted from October 2026 in Ho Chi Minh City in residential areas, the Digital Citizen Station is now playing a role as a safe and reliable connection channel between the State and people and businesses.
Based on the national electronic identification and authentication platform (VNeID), the model brings public services, digital healthcare and many public utilities closer to the people, contributing to improving service quality and building digital government at the grassroots level.
Under the chairmanship of Ho Chi Minh City Police and the Department of Administrative Management of Social Order (C06), medical solutions at the station are being implemented with modern standards, quality, and absolute data safety.
At these stations, the pharmacy system and Long Chau vaccination center are the units operating all digital medical utilities.
The coordination of implementation between management agencies and accompanying units shows a clear direction in building a comprehensive digital ecosystem, bringing health and social services closer to people in a synchronous and sustainable manner.
