At the request of the Director of the Department of Health in Document No. 212/TTr-SYT dated November 30, 2024, the People's Committee of Hau Giang province has just issued a decision on the investment policy for the Digital Transformation project of Hau Giang Provincial Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital.
Accordingly, investment in equipment and infrastructure to deploy Electronic Medical Records (EMR) at Hau Giang Provincial Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital is managed by the Department of Health.
The total investment of the project is 3.7 billion VND from the local budget. The project implementation period is from 2024 - 2026.
The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Health to take the lead and coordinate with relevant agencies to implement the project in accordance with the provisions of the Law on Public Investment and relevant laws.
Digital transformation in the healthcare sector is being implemented by the Government and the Ministry of Health through projects and decrees to improve the quality of medical examination and treatment. Thereby, contributing to creating convenience in medical examination and treatment for people.
