On the afternoon of May 4, leaders of Phuoc Hoi Ward People's Committee, Lam Dong province said that a dog suspected of being rabid biting many people in the area had been beaten to death.
Previously, from the morning of May 3, a black dog running around attacked people in the area of Le Minh Cong and Tran Binh Trong streets, Phuoc Hoi ward.
Initial records show that about 7 people were bitten by this dog. The bites were in people's legs and arms. People then extracted camera footage, posted images of the dog on social networks with warning information to avoid danger.
Through verification, 7 dog bites victims have come to a medical facility for rabies vaccination.
Upon receiving the news, local authorities organized forces to search for the dog in the port and embankment area.
By the afternoon of May 4, leaders of Phuoc Hoi Ward People's Committee said that the dog had been beaten to death.
