On the morning of February 22, Minister of Health Dao Hong Lan visited, burned incense and expressed gratitude to the family of martyr and doctor Dang Thuy Tramman on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of Vietnam Doctors' Day (February 27, 1954 - February 27, 2025).

Coming to burn incense to commemorate martyr and doctor Dang Thuy Tram and visit the martyr's family, Minister of Health Dao Hong Lan emphasized: In the revolutionary cause of the Party and the nation, the class of outstanding children of the country have fought bravely, contributed and sacrificed, including the sacrifice of martyr and doctor Dang Thuy Tram.

Mr. Dinh Anh Tuan - Director of the Department of Maternal and Child Health, Ministry of Health has just signed an official dispatch to the Central Obstetrics Hospital requesting verification and reporting the medical incident to Ms. Q.A.

Accordingly, the Department of Maternal and Child Health, Ministry of Health received press reports on the medical incident in the case of Ms. Q.A (28 years old, residing in Bac Giang) when she went to the Central Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital for medical examination and treatment.

In order to promptly report to the leaders of the Ministry of Health on the above medical incident, the Department of Maternal and Child Health requests the Central Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital to check and verify the information reported and report to the Ministry of Health (through the Department of Maternal and Child Health) on February 25, 2025;

At the same time, urgently review the medical examination and treatment process for Ms. Q.A at the Hospital, providing full information to patients and mass media agencies;

Viet Duc Hospital held emergency consultations from a distance, receiving many victims of the accident between a sleeper bus and a tractor-trailer in Son La

On the morning of February 22, Viet Duc Friendship Hospital held an emergency consultation via the Telemedicine system with the General Hospital of Son La province to best treat victims of traffic accidents. Currently, 2 victims have been transferred to Viet Duc Hospital for treatment, and it is expected to receive 3 more victims this afternoon.

The consultation aims to assess the status of the victims in the accident between a sleeper bus and a tractor-trailer. The consultation helps determine optimal treatment options, while preparing options for receiving treatment for injured patients.

2 patients are being treated at Viet Duc Hospital, including:

Patient P.T.H (female, 52 years old, Ha Nam) in a state of multiple injuries, traumatic brain injury, left leg fracture, right arm fracture;

Patient N.D.H (male, 45 years old, Son La) is in a state of multiple injuries, jaw injury, and open fracture of both sides of the forearms.

It is expected that 3 more patients will be transferred to Viet Duc Hospital for further treatment, including:

V.G.H (male, 9 years old, Son La): Multiple injuries, chest injury, left pleural blood supply, broken left armored bone, suspected hit and swerved pancreas and sternum;

L.T.N (female, 54 years old, Son La): Multiple injuries, 2 open fractures of the left arm, chest and right shoulder injuries;

N.T.L (female, 54 years old, Ha Nam): Multiple injuries, chest injury, lung contusion, pleural overflow, left thigh injury.

Regarding the incident, on the morning of February 22, Son La Provincial Police issued a decision to prosecute a criminal case, issue an order to detain and arrest the detainee in an emergency case against Nguyen Dinh Hung (born in 1983, in Hanoi), the passenger car driver who caused a serious accident that killed 6 people and injured 8 others.
