On the morning of October 20, 2024, Mr. V called Trang. Trang lamented and invited him to Dong Thap to visit his parents. When waiting for Mr. V to pick up, Trang had an intention to poison her lover and commit suicide.
After returning to Dong Thap, in the afternoon of the same day, the two returned to Ho Chi Minh City. On the road, Trang Bao Anh V stopped at the shop to buy black coffee, then put the glass next to the gear lever for him to drink.
When the car entered Cai Be district (Tien Giang), Trang decided to poison him and secretly poured cyanide into a cup of coffee.
“Just drinking coffee for a while, Mr. V had a poisoned sign, so he drove down and stopped on the side of the road. He walked around and opened the car door in the side seat where I was sitting and collapsed, ”Trang Khai with the investigating agency.
On the side of Trang asked a nearby man to help him get into the car, then drove himself to Ho Chi Minh City.
When coming to Chau Thanh district (Tien Giang), Trang checked that Mr. V died, so he continued to carry the body to District 7. At the end, the two of them had planned to play this place before.
Go to Bao Loc pass, Trang changed her mind, not going to Dalat anymore but wanted to commit suicide. Trang drove up and down the pass several times before plunging the car into the area without Lan. The car was flipped around before landing but stopped in a position as normal.
Because both of them tighten their seat belts, the airbags burst out, Trang was only slightly rubbed. After that, the rescue force approached, bringing Trang out of safe.
Investigation in the right direction from the beginning
Lieutenant Colonel Pham Ngoc Dang - Head of the Criminal Police Department of Lam Dong Province - said: “When approaching and evaluating the scene, we discovered that it was not a normal and solid traffic accident. Especially in drivers are women ".
According to Lieutenant Colonel Dang, with a career eye, at the beginning, the investigating agency determined that the death was not due to a traffic accident.
"Based on the results of the scene examination and the victim's autopsy results, we determined that the victim had been poisoned with cyanide before the car plunged into the abyss," Lieutenant Colonel Dang said.
However, when struggling with Trang, this woman initially did not admit.
"We coordinate with Bao Loc City Police to fight, offer many documents and evidence to prove the testimony of the air, but she is still silent to hide the behavior," Lieutenant Colonel Dang said more.
After more than a day of persistent struggle, convincing and giving evidence, Trang admitted to poisoning the victim and then plunged into the abyss to commit suicide.
"Most importantly, from the beginning, we investigated in the right direction this is a murder," Lieutenant Colonel Dang said.
