Quang Nam prosecutes subjects for opposing the Party and State

    On November 5, Dai Loc District Police, Quang Nam Province, announced that they had prosecuted a subject for acts of sabotage against the Party and the State.

    Through investigation, the Department of Cyber ​​Security and High-Tech Crime Prevention of Quang Nam Provincial Police discovered that from 2018 to October 2024, Le Manh (born in 1951, residing in Phu Phuoc village, Dai An commune, Dai Loc district, Quang Nam province) used the Facebook social network account "T.N.D", posting more than 300 articles containing information insulting leader Ho Chi Minh; false information; defaming, infringing on the reputation, honor, and dignity of Party and State leaders; distorting the history of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

    Based on collected documents and evidence, Dai Loc District Police initiated a criminal case and prosecuted Le Manh for the crime of "Abusing democratic freedoms to infringe upon the interests of the State and the legitimate rights and interests of organizations and individuals".

    The case is being further investigated and clarified according to the law.
