Announcing the decision to establish the Party Committee of the Ministry of Home Affairs

The Party Committee of the Ministry of Home Affairs was formed on the basis of reorganizing the current Party Committee of the Ministry of Home Affairs and organizing grassroots party and party members of the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs.

This morning (March 10), the first conference of the Party Executive Committee of the Ministry of Home Affairs for the 2020-2025 term took place at the headquarters of the Ministry of Home Affairs.

At the conference, Director of the Department of Organization and Personnel Nguyen Tuan Ninh announced Decision No. 35-QD/ Du dated February 19 of the Government Party Committee on the establishment of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Home Affairs under the Government Party Committee.

The Party Committee of the Ministry of Home Affairs was formed on the basis of reorganizing the current Party Committee of the Ministry of Home Affairs and organizing grassroots party and party members of the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, including 27 affiliated party organizations with 1,323 party members.

In Decision No. 39, the Standing Committee of the Government Ministry's Party Committee appointed Minister Pham Thi Thanh Tra as Secretary of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Home Affairs. The upper-level Party Committee also appointed Deputy Minister Truong Hai Long as the Standing Deputy Secretary. The full-time Deputy Secretary was appointed as Chief Inspector of the Ministry Nguyen Manh Khuong. Appointed comrade Nguyen Huy Hung, former Director of the Department of Labor Relations and Wages, Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Home Affairs for the 2020-2025 term.

Decision No. 42 of the Government Party Committee appoints additional personnel to participate in the Party Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Deputy Secretary, and Inspection Committee of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Home Affairs, consisting of 17 people.

According to Minister Pham Thi Thanh Tra, the above contents have been carefully and elaborately prepared before March 1, the official date of operation of the new Ministry of Home Affairs.

Accordingly, since February 28, the Standing Committee of the Ministry Party Committee has held a conference, agreed and approved many important contents.

First of all, members of the Standing Committee discussed approving the working regulations of the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee, approving the working regulations of agencies in 2025 and outlined the contents to prepare for the Party Congresses at all levels towards the Party Congress of the Ministry of Home Affairs for the new term.

Minister Pham Thi Thanh Tra also positively appreciated the implementation of decisions and contents of the conference at each Party cell in the Ministry of Home Affairs, the most important of which is the transfer and consolidation with the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs.
