In order to solve the need for social housing, in recent times, Khanh Hoa has inspected and reviewed the allocation of land, land lease, and land fund recovery for auction and bidding to select investors to implement the social housing project of the Northern Residential Area project of Vinh Hai Ward, with a land area of about 4,000m2.
The social housing project at CC3 land plot, zone 3 - My Gia Urban Area, with an area of 13,562.4m2, is also being considered for investment approval according to current regulations.
The disclosure of information about social housing projects in the past has also been specifically announced about the approved selling price, rental price, purchase price, and the number of unsold apartments of social housing projects that are still vacant on the website of the Department of Construction.
Implementing the Project "Investing in the construction of at least 1 million social housing apartments for low-income people and industrial park workers in the period of 2021 - 2030" in the area, Khanh Hoa province has so far reached 3,364 apartments.
It is expected that from now until the end of 2025, the Social Housing project in Cam Nghia ward, Cam Ranh city will complete 1,142 units/3,565 units, Khanh Hoa will complete the target according to the allocation project.
In the 2026 - 2030 period, Khanh Hoa must complete more than 4,000 units according to the project's targets. According to the Department of Construction of Khanh Hoa province, the locality is speeding up the implementation of the Hung Phu II social housing project (Vinh Hai ward, Nha Trang city), with a land area of 6,895m2, expected scale of about 30 floors, with 1,200 apartments.
The An Binh Tan Urban Area Social Housing Project (Phuoc Long Ward, Nha Trang City) has an area of 20,670m2, expected scale of 12 floors, with 1,500 apartments; the Hoang Long Urban Area Social Housing Project (Phuoc Long Ward) has an area of over 11,309m2, expected scale of about 9 - 12 floors, with about 900 apartments.
In May 2025, the Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee also chaired a meeting to appraise the proposal to approve the investment policy of the OXH 02 Social Housing Project (No. 10 Truong Son Street, Vinh Nguyen Ward, Nha Trang City) with an area of over 13,000m2.
The project has a total investment of more than VND 2,200 billion, a term of operation of 50 years with 1,215 social housing units, 325 commercial apartments, accommodating about 4,100 people. Construction is expected to start in the fourth quarter of 2025 and be completed by the end of the second quarter of 2027.
At the dialogue program with union members and workers in 2025, Mr. Nguyen Tan Tuan - Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee commented that the demand for social housing when the new Khanh Hoa province is established will increase. The locality is urgently reviewing to find land to meet the housing needs of cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers.
