The People's Committee of Binh Duong province has considered the proposal of the Director of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Binh Duong province and issued a decision to reclaim the land area of more than 19,700m2.
This land in Phuoc Vinh town, Phu Giao district is managed by Thanh Le Import-Export Trading Corporation - JSC according to the decision since 2014 of the Provincial People's Committee.
The People's Committee of Binh Duong province assigned the entire reclaimed land area of more than 19,700 m2 to the Binh Duong Provincial Land Fund Development Center for management according to regulations.
The People's Committee of Binh Duong province requested Thanh Le Import-Export Trading Corporation - JSC to be responsible for handing over the land plot boundary to the Binh Duong Provincial Land Fund Development Center for management. At the same time, the Binh Duong Provincial Tax Department was assigned to review financial obligations related to the land to collect land use fees if any.

Also in this period, the People's Committee of Binh Duong province has issued a decision to reclaim 5 land plots in Phu Hoa, Phu Loi and Phu Cuong wards (Thu Dau Mot city) managed by the Industrial Investment and Development Corporation - JSC (Becamex IDC).
The reclaimed land includes: Thu Dau Mot City Commercial Center (zone 1) with an area of 4,732m2 in Phu Hoa ward; Thu Dau Mot City Commercial Center (zone 2) with an area of 4,829m2 in Phu Loi ward; Hiep Thanh Construction Materials and Petroleum store with an area of 400m2; Market Management Board No. 114 with an area of 83.6m2 and Market Management Board No. 94 with an area of 111.7m2.
According to the People's Committee of Binh Duong province, the reason for the revocation of the above 5 land plots is that the land users no longer have a need to use the land and have submitted a voluntary application to return the land according to regulations.
The People's Committee of Binh Duong province assigned the entire area of recovered land to the Thu Dau Mot City Land Fund Development Center for management; at the same time, requested the Industrial Investment and Development Corporation - JSC to contact the Department of Natural Resources and Environment to return the issued land use right certificates and fulfill financial obligations if any.
It is known that the two enterprises above are state-owned companies that have been equitized. According to the latest report of Binh Duong Provincial People's Committee, the State currently holds 95.44% of Becamex IDC's charter capital. The total charter capital of this enterprise is 10,350 billion VND, the State's contribution capital is 9,878 billion VND.
Meanwhile, the State owns 36% of the charter capital in Thanh Le Import-Export Trading Corporation - JSC. This enterprise has a charter capital of VND 2,366 billion, the State's contribution capital is VND 851.7 billion.
