The People's Committee of Binh Duong province decided to allocate and lease land to Housing Development Investment Corporation and Do Thi - Company Limited to implement the Chanh My ecological urban area project, phase 1. The total area of land allocated and leased is 39,704 m2.
Land allocation with land use fees is used for urban residential land purposes with an area of 21,398 m2. Of which, villa land is 13,530 m2, adjacent land is 6,806 m2, resettlement land is 1,061 m2;
Allocate land without land use fees with an area of 15,583 m2 for use in entertainment, public entertainment, community activities, non-agricultural land, land with specialized water surface, traffic land, and educational institution land.
The project implementation period is until May 19, 2058. Financial obligations are implemented in accordance with the provisions of law.

The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Agriculture and Environment to preside over and coordinate with relevant departments to advise the Provincial People's Committee on determining land prices to calculate land use fees and land rents. At the same time, the land use right certificate was handed over to the enterprise.
The People's Committee of Binh Duong province requests investors to fully fulfill financial obligations related to the land, carry out procedures to reduce land use fees. For the area of 2,836 m2 of land belonging to the road protection corridor and 60 m2 belonging to the canal protection corridor, the investor must be responsible for managing and investing according to the plan.
According to the People's Committee of Binh Duong province, this is the 9th time the land has been allocated and leased for the above project.
According to the reporter, it has been nearly 20 years since the investment policy was issued, but the Chanh My Ecological Urban Area project has not yet been completed. This is a large project located next to the Saigon River, with a planned land area of up to 340 hectares. Currently, the investor is continuing to implement many items of the project, including an apartment complex with nearly 1,000 social housing units.
