On May 11, the People's Committee of Long Thanh district announced that the resettlement work for the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway project through the district has a total of 1,718 households approved.
To date, the district has approved resettlement for 800 households (757 households have been resettled, 43 households are reviewing to organize drawing), 164 households have not yet approved due to problems with procedures and 754 households are not qualified.
Households giving up land to construct the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway project through Long Thanh district are arranged in 2 resettlement areas including: Long Duc resettlement and Long Phuoc resettlement.
Previously, on May 10, the People's Committee of Long Thanh district issued a decision to enforce and mobilize 12 households in Long Duc commune to hand over the site to implement the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway Component 1 project. These are also the last 12 households in Long Thanh district that have not agreed to hand over the site.
Through the work, 4/12 households have agreed to hand over the land to implement the project.
The Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway project through Long Thanh district is about 28 km long, with a total area to be reclaimed of nearly 228 hectares.
