Can Tho establishes a Land Price List Appraisal Council

Can Tho - Can Tho City People's Committee established a Land Price List Appraisal Council, chaired by Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Tran Chi Hung.

The leaders of the People's Committee of Can Tho City have just signed a decision on the establishment of a Land Price List Appraisal Council in the city.

According to the decision, Mr. Tran Chi Hung - Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Can Tho City - will be Chairman of the Council. The Vice Chairman of the Council is Mr. Duong Van Ngoanh, Acting Director of the Department of Finance. Members are leaders of specialized agencies under the City People's Committee.

The Council is responsible for appraising the land price list, implementing the periodic and ad hoc reporting regime according to the requirements of the City People's Committee and the Chairman of the City People's Committee. The Department of Finance is assigned to be the standing agency, presiding over and coordinating with members to advise on the establishment and improvement of the Working Group and the use of civil servants to perform related tasks.

The working council is independent, objective, according to collective principles, decided by majority; the Chairman and members are personally responsible for their opinions. Every meeting must make a record, fully archive the opinions and voting results. Council members work part-time.

The Chairman of the Council uses the seal of the City People's Committee; the Vice Chairman is allowed to use the seal of the Department of Finance when performing his duties. The Council's operating budget is arranged in the annual budget estimate of the Department of Finance, ensuring compliance with legal regulations.
