People's Artist Kim Cuong, known as the "Vietnamese female stagewomen", is one of the big names in Cai Luong and drama. Although she has turned 88, she is still alert, cheerful and lives fully in the love of friends and colleagues. After more than 60 years of being attached to the stage, her name and contributions have become an irreplaceable monument in the hearts of the public.
Currently, People's Artist Kim Cuong lives in a spacious villa located in the center of Ho Chi Minh City - where she has been attached to for more than half a century.
The house is spacious, with its own elevator and many items and antiques that have been collected over time. Among them, many items have great value in terms of art and spirit, especially the statue that is over 200 years old that she cherishes. It is known that this villa is worth tens of billions of VND.




However, People's Artist Kim Cuong repeatedly affirmed that she lived a simple life and did not focus on material things. She once shared: "My name is Kim Cuong, there are no diamonds, life is just enough, there is nothing left over".
All of her income over the years has been spent mostly on charity, supporting orphans and people with disabilities - jobs she has maintained for more than half a century.
In terms of salary, during the golden period of Saigon drama stage, she was a salaried artist in the top of the era. Not only famous for her acting talent, People's Artist Kim Cuong is also the author and director of many hit plays such as Hong Hong Huong Cam, La Sau Tu, Duoi Du Co Giam... These plays help her have a solid position and bring a stable source of income for many years.
Now, in her late teens, People's Artist Kim Cuong still lives in an old villa, happily living with her students and colleagues. She still appears in a number of programs, exchanges and participates in charity activities.
