On July 31, the People's Committee of Gia Lai province announced that it had issued a Decision detailing cases of having a house but living away from work and enjoying social housing support policies (NOXH). The decision takes effect from August 8, 2025.
This decision is implemented according to Resolution No. 201/2025/QH15 dated May 29, 2025 of the National Assembly on piloting a number of specific mechanisms and policies for the development of social housing.
The beneficiaries of this policy include: Workers and employees working at enterprises, cooperatives, and cooperative unions inside and outside industrial parks.
Officers, professional soldiers, non-commissioned officers of the People's Armed Forces, police workers, civil servants, workers and defense officials serving in the army; people working in cryptography, people working in other cryptographic organizations receiving salaries from the state budget they are working for. Cadres, civil servants, and public employees according to regulations.
These subjects are allowed to buy or rent social housing if they have never enjoyed social housing policies and their own houses are 30km or more from their workplace.
Previously, in a recent on-site inspection, Vice Chairman of Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Huu Que requested investors to speed up the progress of Tan Dai Minh 2 - Lamer 2 social housing projects, Nhon Phu 2 and the Trade Union Institution Area, in order to promptly meet the housing needs of cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers from the old Gia Lai to Quy Nhon to work.
Mr. Nguyen Huu Que requested that the Tan Dai Minh 2 - Lamer 2 social housing project must be completed and put into use in Block C1 (261 apartments) in 2025.
The Nhon Phu 2 social housing project must be completed and put into use with 357 apartments (CTA3 building 209 apartments and CTA4 148 apartments) in 2025. In particular, CTA1 (209 apartments) and CTA2 (148 apartments) must be completed and put into use no later than the first quarter of 2026.
The Housing Project under the Trade Union Institution Area planning must be completed and put into use by CT2 Building (378 apartments) by June 2026; CT3 and CT4 Building (351 apartments each) must be completed and put into use by August 2026 at the latest.
