67 old apartment buildings were inspected and distributed in the wards of Ngo Quyen, Gia Vien, An Bien, Le Chan, Hong Bang, Kien An, Phu Lien. However, through review, there are 4 works (C13, C53, C55 of the old Cau Tre ward and A17 of the old Van My ward) belonging to the Investment Project for the construction of technical infrastructure works in the old Van My and 311 Da Nang apartment buildings approved by the Hai Phong City People's Committee in Decision No. 1613/QD-UBND dated May 28, 2025; therefore, no survey or inspection was conducted for these 4 works.
As a result, out of a total of 63 old apartment buildings inspected, there are: 48 level C dangerous buildings (The load-bearing capacity of a structural part cannot meet the requirements of normal use, causing local danger). Of these, 36/48 works do not ensure traffic routes for fire trucks according to QCVN 06:2022/BXD.
15 works with level D danger (The load-bearing capacity of a structural part cannot meet the requirements of normal use, causing a general danger). The works in Ngo Quyen ward include a 2-storey house in an alley with an alley of 42 in alley 112 Ngo Quyen; a 2-storey house in an alley with an alley with an alley of 52 in alley 112 Ngo Quyen; area 254 Da Nang; A8; A9 Thai Phien; Lot 1; Lot 4 Thai Phien. The projects in Le Chan ward include A8; A10 Dong Tam; Lot A; Lot B Dong An Phung. An Bien ward has apartment complex A33; A35; U21 Lam Son; 5-storey An Duong area.
The survey and inspection of old apartment buildings (assessed as level C danger in 2017) in the city after the impact of storm No. 3 in 2024 is the basis for the city to have a handling plan to ensure safety for owners and users of apartment buildings.
