Loc An - Binh Son resettlement area (Long Thanh commune, Dong Nai province) with an area of more than 280 hectares started construction in 2020 to serve resettlement for people who gave up land to build Long Thanh airport.
In 2021, the first households to give up land to build Long Thanh airport were handed over land and started building houses, stabilizing their lives and jobs. Up to now, after more than 5 years, thousands of households have moved to Loc An - Binh Son resettlement area, forming spacious and bustling villas and townhouses with the most modern technical and social infrastructure in Dong Nai province.
The transportation system, water supply system, rainwater and wastewater drainage system, power supply and lighting system, communication pipeline section, wastewater treatment plant construction, and green trees are invested methodically and modernly.
In addition, 11 social infrastructure projects are also gradually coming into operation to serve people's lives. Among them, projects such as kindergartens, primary schools, and secondary schools are nurturing hundreds of children of resettled people here.
To implement the Long Thanh airport project, Dong Nai province must recover an area of about 5,000 hectares. Among these, nearly 3,000 hectares are land under the land use rights of households and individuals.
In the area where the Long Thanh airport project is implemented, there are nearly 5,600 affected households. Of which, nearly 4,600 households are subject to resettlement arrangement.
